Central States Benefit Horse Show

Looking forward to our THIRD YEAR!

July 16-18, 2009

Hale Arena, The American Royal Complex, Kansas City, MO
Our 2009 Judge: Mr. Bill Waller, Heiskell, TN

THANK YOU EXHIBITORS
for another GREAT horse show!

We welcomed 515 total entries for the show and the stands were packed for our Academy performance. The weather was a cool 70 degrees and dry all week in our wonderful facility.

The Saddlebred Rescue Silent Auction (the brainchild of Julie minor and Donna Parsley) and money raised from the Second Chance Class (spearheaded by Jayne Pearman) totalled $1,700! These funds will go directly to Saddlebred Rescue. We also raised money from our recycle bins--we were a "Go Green" show, thanks to the efforts of Kitty Gravely!

Special thanks to Carol Friel for our logo artwork. This is her artistic rendition of one of Kansas City's most famous fountains, the J C Nichols Memorial Fountain on West 47th Street, between J. C. Nichols Parkway and Main Street. This fountain was erected in 1960 and is one of the best-known and most photographed of all of the city's fountains.
